Starting back in October I started to become more mobile. As you can see in this video, that was taped on October 24, I mastered the rolling over thing and progressed to getting up on my knees and attempting to crawl. Since then I have managed to drag myself forward from this position. I can get to all my toys (and Madison's too) very quickly. Mom and dad have mixed feelings about how soon they want me to crawl. I think I will wait till the Christmas tree is up so I can pull on some branches!

My First Eats
Hello Everyone! I'm back. Dad has been a slacker since he went back to work; however, I have convinced him it is time to blog again. In this video you can witness my first attempt at eating real solid foods (not just grains). On September 1, mom and dad decided I should try some peas! I ate the peas, but I was not overly excited about them. Over the last few months I have really taken to fruits and vegetables and I now eat three times a day. A big shout out to mom who has prepared all my meals! She is certainly a whiz with that blender.

My First Vacation
This past weekend, mom, dad, and I took our first family vacation. Mom wanted to go on a road trip before dad had to go back to work. After much deliberation, mom and dad decided to go to Galena, IL and Dubuque, IA. Also on the way home we also stopped at Blue Mounds State Park in Blue Mounds, WI. Before I show you some videos of the trip, I wanted to give a shout out to my aunt Kelly and my new uncle Jon for watching Madison during our road trip.
Galena, IL
Our first stop was in Galena, IL. We stayed at the Chestnut Mountain Resort which was just out of town. While in Galena we walked around the town, did some shopping, walked on the Galena River Walkway, and went swimming at the resort. I really enjoyed swimming all three days! Mom says it is in the Anderson blood to love the water. Enjoy the video of our experiences in Galena. The music in the video is from a CD that mom and dad had made for me at a store called Poopsies.
Dubuque, IA
We also went to Dubuque, IA for an afternoon. We spent our entire time in Dubuque at the Port of Dubuque. We first ate at the Dubuque Star Restaurant and Ultra Lounge in the Star Brewery Building and then went for a walk on the Mississippi Riverwalk. At the end of the riverwalk was the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium. I got to see lots of neat fish, reptiles, animals, and river boats. The Diamond Jo casino was also on the riverwalk. Dad wanted to go, but apparently I am not quite old enough.
Blue Mounds State Park
Our last stop was a quick break at the Blue Mounds State Park in Blue Mounds, WI. We picked this scenic park to stop and take a break from driving. I also needed to eat. Dad took some quick pictures while we were there. He also promised to take me camping there some day.

Time To Eat!
Solids. I am eating solids (if you call rice cereal a solid)! This is a video of my first attempt at eating solid foods. As you can see, mom could use some target practice. I think I could maneuver the spoon better! Besides that, this eating thing is pretty cool. Veggies, here I come!
Motorboating and Teething
A few weeks ago I learned how to play with my lips. I am not sure why, but when I play with my lips; adults think they have to follow along. On this video you can hear mom's attempt to copy me. I also started teething, which apparently means that I will bite down on anything that I can get towards my face! In this video it happens to be my activity mat. Oh what fun!

My Puppy and Me
People often ask how Madison has adjusted to living with me. Madison has been a great girl! At first Madison didn't pay much attention to me, unless mom and dad made her; however, recently we have both been more interested in each other. Madison likes to lick me until mom and dad stop her. She is also very good at alerting mom and dad when I have a dirty diaper. Here is some recent video of the two of us!
Good Morning Cooper
My usual time to wake up is between 5:30 am and 7:00 am. I am what some people like to call a morning person. When I wake up, I want mom and dad to wake up and play! The other morning mom surprised me by video taping my morning smiles. At first I am a little surprised by the camera, but once I get used to the idea of reality television, I show off my true morning colors!
