Bonding With My Baby Brother

I was bonding with my baby brother tonight. I noticed Mommy's belly button is sticking out now, so I thought it was funny to touch it. Maybe my baby brother can feel that or hear me giggle. Then I started giving my baby some love taps in there. He's going to be lots of fun to play with once he comes out of Mommy's belly. I just know it!

Post-Bath Ritual

After I take a bath, I have a little ritual. I cannot wait to run over to the mirror and dance, make faces and play peek-a-boo. I really entertain myself and admire my little body. Often times, my mom can't even dry me off first. I slip right through her fingers and run over to the mirror. Watch me playing in the mirror after my bath tonight.

Fun With The Hose

There are so many fun things I've noticed about summertime this year. I especially love the hose! When my mom and dad water the plants, you better watch out. I run right through it. I'm not scared. I don't care if it's frigid cold water or I have all of my clothes on... all the more fun I say. Sometimes I have to stay inside when it's watering time or get my swimming suit on, but today my mom and dad let me run through the hose with all of my clothes on and I had so much fun!

My Evolution of Dance

It's about time Mom and Dad post something new on my blog... hey? Well, my dance moves have really been evolving. I can really get down and Dad is proud that I'm a fan of country music. I really can dance to anything that has a beat though. I've been known to even sway to the beat of the sound of a hammer or a siren. Right now, Sideways by Dierks Bentley is one of my favorite songs and when the video comes on, I'm right there groovin' with the dancers on the video. Come on and take a dance break with me!

Swimming, Swimming in the Swimming Hole

On Monday I had my last swimming lesson. We played some games and I got to go down the big water slide with Mommy twice! As you can tell by the look on my face, I didn't see what the big deal about the slide was. Mommy liked it though. She got pushed under water and everything. She looked pretty silly. Here I am doing a swimming game called "Motorboat," jumping into the water (with Mommy's help) and going down the slide.

Love to Laugh

I really love to laugh.  Everything has been tickling my funny bone lately.  Someone making funny faces, being chased, Madison's antics, peek-a-boo and of course being tickled.  Here is a video of me getting my laugh on while Mommy tickles me.

Walking Like a Pro

It took me about a week to get this whole walking thing down. Now, I'm doing laps around the house and walking around like a pro.  I don't even have to have my arms raised all the time anymore for balance.  I want to walk everywhere!  Mom and Dad like to giggle at my bow-leggedness.  Watch me cruise around in the video!
On a side note, don't laugh at me because I'm not wearing pants in this video.  It's more comfy sometimes and you shouldn't judge because you know you do it sometimes too.

These Feet Were Made For Walkin'

Just this week, I got up enough courage to start walking on my own.  I'm still limiting myself to short distances, but it's a start. Mommy and Daddy sure get excited every time I do it.  So, as long as they get a kick out of it, I think I'll keep using these feet of mine.  Maybe soon I will walk across a room and REALLY knock their socks off.  I must admit it is pretty fun!

Mommy would like to apologize for the bad lighting in this video. Let's not give her a hard time about it though.  I mean, milestones happen in good lighting and bad.  At least she got the moment on tape.

More Funny Noises I Can Make

Oh man!  I just figured out something really cool the other day.  When Daddy puts me on his knee and bounces me up and down, I can make a really funny sound with my voice.  I love all these new tricks I can do.  What will I come up with next?

I'm a Dancin' Machine

I'm a dance, dance, dance, dance, dancin' machine... watch me get down, watch me get down!
That about sums it up.

I'm a Silly One

I like to be silly and have a good time. My sense of humor has been emerging recently. Lately, I've been cracking myself up from my own antics. Mommy and Daddy think I'm pretty funny too. I like to make them laugh. Here's an instance of my silliness in action.

On The Road To Walking

I've become pretty comfortable with walking while holding onto furniture. You could call me a pro! Until now, I haven't been ready to let go though. This morning, Daddy brought up my lion walker/rider from the basement. Mommy thought she'd put me behind it to see what I would do. Watch the video and look at me go! I did it! I'm walking! It was pretty cool. "Next step".... walking all on my own. It is coming soon.... stay tuned.

Birthday Cake!

As you might have read on mom's blog, I got to celebrate my first birthday with my family this past weekend.  I got lots of great gifts and had a blast swimming with everyone.  Thank you for all my awesome presents!  As you can see I also got my very own cupcake!  It was incredible!  I ate it really fast and didn't make much of a mess.  See for yourself:

I'm Frustrated!

As I'm getting older, I want to do more for myself. However, this often proves to be very frustrating for me since I don't have the world around me completely figured out yet. Mommy and Daddy are seeing more of my many moods these days. In this video, I am trying to put a magnetic animal piece inside my farm toy. I can't really figure out how to do it though and I try EVERYTHING from shaking it, to throwing the toy piece. Finally, Mommy has to help me out and that still isn't good enough. Ahhh... that's life these days!

Feeding Madison

Mom and dad are trying to teach me baby sign language so, among many other things, I can tell them when I am done eating. Right now the way I let them know I am done eating is to give Madison my food. This is way more fun than using sign language!

Dancing

As you may have read on mommy's blog, I love to dance! Well, at least bob my head. Here is a short clip of me dancing to some Christmas music back in December!

A Cooper Christmas - Cooper's First Christmas

My first Christmas! Thanks to everyone who got me a gift. Even though I liked banging on the boxes, ripping wrapping paper, and pulling on ribbon; I really enjoyed the gifts as well. There were so many that mom and dad could not even bring them all home in one trip. Here is some video of me opening gifts on my first Christmas.
